I am on the verge of calling a pest control company because we have fleas in our yard. I was so glad to see this ebook on a list of free books. I do appreciate recommendations on some good chemicals to use in the house. There is also a fair amount of information of the habits and life cycle of the flea. There was NO information on how to treat a yard. The only recommendation for the yard was keep your yard clean so the fleas won't have a place to hide. That doesn't help me. I can hardly believe it, but ours apparently came from some old dog bedding that was thrown in our outside garbage can. I am afraid I am going to lose the battle of trying to keep fleas out of the house if we can't get them out of the yard.If your flea problem is with your animals and in your house, there are useful and easy to understand tips in here. However, in reading various articles on the internet about flea problems, I saw many other useful tips that are not in this book. For instance, giving a pet brewer's yeast daily will virtually eliminate their fleas. We are using our normal rub-in spot med on our (outside only)cat but are now also giving him brewer's yeast to help protect him from our problem.
